TMS320F2808: F2808 flash API: Programming consecutive flash sectors with a single program action

Part Number: TMS320F2808
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE

Hi expert,

For F2808 device, could Flash2808_Program function program consecutive addresses across the boundary of two flash sectors?

I didn't see any limitation from the guide book.

BTW, I'd like to double confirm if F2803 device should use F2808 API.

Thanks

Sheldon

Yes, you can program across flash sector boundaries.

This is not correct. The F2803x should use the respective Flash API within C2000ware. Located at the below:

  • Hi Kevin,

Thanks for your information. BTW, I do mean the special part number which is not a Piccolo device but belongs to F2802, F2806, F2808, F2809 series.

Could you help me with this?

    Thanks

    Sheldon

Sorry, you were right. It will use the same flash API as the F2808 and its family (F280x). The names being so similar catches me off sometimes.
