CCS/TMS320F28335: F28335-Q1 ADC A0,A1 channel sample data were not real occasionally.

Part Number: TMS320F28335

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Dears,

F28335 is for the EV driver and ADC A0 A1 are for the motor current feedback ADC, the ADC value in DSP occasionally got larger much than the real value.

these bug will cause the motor control a fault.

while the other channels such as A2~A7 were normal.

how to solve this ADC bug?

  • Evan,

We will need more information about the system.

Can describe the ADC configuration?  You can also attach the configuration code snippet as text or as a file.

Can you describe the magnitude of error?  For example, the expected conversion is XXXX, but it instead converts YYYY.

Are A2-A7 converting similar motor current feedback sensors?  Are there any differences in signal conditioning between the reliable and unreliable channels?

Is it possible to reorder the channel sequencing?  For example, if A0 and A1 are converted first, can they be moved to the end of the sequence?
