TMS320F28374S: Pullup for unbonded GPIOs

Genius 5840 points
Part Number: TMS320F28374S

Hello.

Regarding to  section 4.3 of following datasheet, 100 pin and 176pin packages seem to be pulled up with unbonded GPIOs by Boot ROM.

http://www.ti.com/jp/lit/ds/symlink/tms320f28374s.pdf

But when I refer to section 7.8 of  following manual and some example project,

Internal Pull up of unbonded GPIOs is done by InitSysCtrl() and Boot ROM seems not to be used.

Who is done Pullup of unbonded GPIO in TMS320F28374S?(Application code? or ROM code?)

Regards,

U-SK

  • Hello

Both perform the action. Boot will always do this.

The application code also includes it. No harm to leave it there as well. If during development, you debug without running through boot, then you'll still have the same behavior as when you later run standalone with boot.

    Best regards
