Hi Ti engineers

My company's product's device is TMS320F28377D,

it began to develop from 2013 ,it's compiler is C2000_6.28 and it's so old now.

Today when I search the TI website, I found that the compiler for c2000 has been updated to 18.12.2

I think that it will performance better than C2000_6.28, so I want to use it in my company's project,

I want to know that if I change my project's compiler to the newest compiler, will it work as well?

We work hard to maintain compatibility among compiler versions. Most customers change compiler versions without incident. That said, we are unable to promise there will never be any problems. It is true that, the longer the time between compiler releases, the higher the chance of a problem. If something goes wrong, you are more than welcome to post here, and we will help you.

thanks for your reply, I'll have try,

and I have another question,

there's some .exe application under the address"C:\ti\ti-cgt-c2000_18.12.2.LTS\bin",

such as dis2000.exe ofd2000.exe xref2000.exe,

I know that i could use the --help option to see the function of these exe application,

but I want to know if there is some documents about these exe application ?

I think it would be useful for me.

would you please help me find some document about these?

They are documented in the C28x assembly tools manual.
