TMS320F28069M: I2C code for motorware

Dear Support:

I am trying to get i2c to work with motorware and noticed that there is not i2c.c in the directory below:

C:\TI\motorware\motorware_1_01_00_18\sw\drivers\i2c\src\32b\f28x\f2806x

However there is an i2c.h file. Why would that be? And where would I found a corresponding i2c.c file I can use? Please advise.

There is no such corresponding i2c.h and i2c.c in motorWare and the i2c.h is bit filed struct header file from controlSUITE. You have to write these two files refer to the guide (motorware_hal_tutorial.pdf), or you might use the bit filed struct I2C example in controlSUITE and merge it into a project in motorWare directly.

MotorWare just focuses on motor control algorithm, so only support the peripherals related to the motor drive, not provide the driver file for all peripherals.

Ok, thanks for making that clear too - I didn't realize that. So it's C2000Ware for peripherals and Motorware for motors - got it.
