Hi,

No. EnDat protocol is not compliant to the SPI interface - you cannot hook up EnDat interface to SPI directly.
For F28379D there is a s/w library available which supports EnDat interface.

So it is possible to create an ENDAT-Interface with the SPI, CLB and PWM- Modul on the TMS320F28379D.

It is also possible to create an ENDAT-Interface with the TMS320F28388D the same way?

that there will be a "CLB configuration tools to be available for customer use [...] in 4th quarter of 2019".

is the "CLB configuration tool" also available for the TMS320F28388D?

Hi,

Currently EnDat22 interface libraries are available for F28379D.
Yes - we do plan to release CLB configuration tools to be available for customer use by end of 3Q19.
This tool will also support TMS320F28388D.
