How I can reslove this problem that While programming TMS320F2812 by C2000 gang programmer it gives error as CSM unlock error: -
Error says that device is locked. You can't program / erase flash on a locked device. First make sure to unlock the device by entering CSM password in 0xAE0 - 0xAE7.
Thank you for your reply!
But I am using fresh boards from production which I am flashing by gang programmer and on that also it is giving this same error.
May be its programmer or programming tool issue?
Fresh units from Texas Instruments should in erased condition by default. So, CSM should be in unlocked state. Can you double check by trying to erase in CCS flash programming tool just to check whether it C2000 gang programmer issue (or) device is genuinely locked?
I tried to fresh boards by selecting erase option but it gave same error only.
But after multiple trials and after restart application, board power off/on it get programmed.
So not able to program it in one shot only. Some time works some time not.
After once programmed then I need to unlock it first but why on fresh board I am facing issue.
Hi,
How the target is supplied - from programmer or from external power supply? Is the Vcc stable during communication? One more - how long JTAG cable are between target and programmer - the picture showing only part of the bench and I cannot see the connection between target and programmer.
