Hi There,

I would like to trial the gridConnectedInverterLCLFlter firmware, however with ADC sensing.

Unfortunately it seems that the main.cfg interface only allows for SDFM, and does not allow ADC sensing a valid selection.

Two questions:

1. Is there a way I can alter the main.cfg & Kit.xml manually to set this up?

2, Is there any issues with operating from ADC in this mode.

Robin,

We designed the solution for gird sense current from a control loop perspective,

The control loop behaves differently with the inverter side current with LCL filters you may want to do some literature search on IEEE or similar platforms.

You will not be able to use powerSUITE if you want to try with inverter side current and ADC, you will need to import the project in non powerSUITE configuration, we provide both projectspecs here

At that point you will need to debug your system on your own, we are unable to help in developing customer;s system algorithm or code. We can assist only with device specific questions or solutions as we market them/ document them.

I think I understand, Powersuite = Compensation Designer + SFRA, so no I wont be able to use the powersuite if I alter gridconnect variant to operate with ADC instead of SDFM?

powerSUITE = compensation designer + sfra + solution adapter that is the GUI page you see.

You will not be able to use the GUI for changing the software, and in this case i will remove it completely and import it as a non powerSUITE project.

my preference is to utilise the compensation designer and SFRA tools;

can I operate these tools in stand-alone mode, independent from the GUI page, and optimise my final design?

Ye syou can use SFRA and compensation designer, but can no lomger use the solution adpter .cfg gui page.
