Will appreciate any suggestion for improving the remote sensing approach as shown in the attached pdf.

If we use C2000 differential input mode of the ADC, the change in the native eval code will have to be changed as well. I am wondering if that will be a significant change or trivial?

If significant, then we perhaps should stick with external diff to single conversion opamp as shown?

Hi Robin,

Could you clarify below items for me first based from your schematics:

- The input pairs you want to feed to the F28379F differential ADC are VFDBK and GND5VD. Is this correct?

- What is the expected level on VFDBK? I could be wrong but based from my calculations using the front end resistor string and the OpAmp having gain = 2, it is around 86mV.

Oh, VDFBK should be apprx Vref!

LEt me check what value is inserted wrongly.

But the idea is to do remote sensing of 5V from load points.

Hi Robin,

If VFDBK is at VREF, then it meets the common mode voltage criteria. You can use it to feed to the differential input of the F28379D ADC for remote sensing purposes.
