CCS/TMS320F28377D: Cannot download programs through CCS

In our produced PCBs of TMS320F28377D,We encountered a circuit board that couldn't download the program through CCS.This circuit has produced thousands of pieces, only this one has encountered this problem. At first the problem was not exposed because it could be downloaded through C2Prog.exe.When online debugging was needed, we found that many computers could not connect to the circuit board through CCS.

CCS reported errors as follows.

We experimented with downloading the suffix ehx file successfully through C2Prog.exe and downloading the suffix out successfully through Uniflash. The PCB works normally. Why can't we download it through CCS? How can we locate the problem?

Looking at the link, he faced the problem of software version.But I only had problems with this 28377D. Other 28377D in the same batch can be downloaded through CCS.So I think it's a hardware problem. I hope you can guide us on how to locate hardware problems.

Which CCS version are using? Please update it and see if that works.

Also, please update the emulator driver.

Let us know if that does not help. You can generate logs for us to review.

According to the instructions of the link below, I upgraded the software version from CCSV7.1 to CCSV8.3. We have solved this problem. My colleague can't debug the processor, so I can debug it.

But I expect to know why. Because CCS software does not have any hints, which has caused us a lot of trouble.

On the other hand, we are very lucky. Our previous software based on "serial_flash_programmer" may still be in normal use.

Glad you are able to program now.

As mentioned in the above FAQ, TI sent PCN to all the customers suggesting to install the updates in CCS.
