TIDM-HV-1PH-DCAC: 48VDC Input inverter solution for UPS

Hi Team,

I'm just looking for a solution for 48V to 100VAC inverter solution for UPS and reached out TIDM-HV-1PH-DCAC which support VSI mode.

But its recommended input voltage was too high(400VDC) as I expected and I'm not sure if we can utilize it as 48V to 100VAC inverter.

Then could you answer following my questions.

1. Is it possible to use this design as 48V to 100VAC inverter? Let me know if I need other optional board for the use case.

2. Do you have another recommended design for such the use case?

YOu will need an additionla boost stage, from 48 V to boost atleast till ~180-200V for one to output 100VAC.

Hi Manish-san,

OK, I understood that additional boost converter needed for 48VDC input.

Regarding the TMDSSOLARUINVKIT, You said that it has not tested as VSI mode, in the following thread, right?

Eventually, is it capable for us to test as VSI mode for 48VDC input?

If yes, I will push it to my customer though.

Yes the design has not been tested with VSI mode.

We don't have turn key solution for the requirements.

They will need to look at both designs and pick and choose components from each one based on their requirements.
