Can we assign static IP to ethercat (ET1100) interfaced via EMIF to control card (TMS320F28379D).

Are you referring to EoE ? Can you also explain a little more on the exact use case you are building on TMS320F28379D ?

Thanks for the reply.

I am implementing tcp/ip over Ethercat, I need to pass the data over ethercat .

So , What I am trying is to statically give IP and then try tcpecho .

Can you guide on this further ?

Hi,

We are still not clear on the top level use case on why EtherCAT to do this.

Nevertheless the stack from beckhoff supports EoE. So for further queries, please get in touch with Beckhoff. Thanks.
