XDS100v2 on custom board

Hi,

I have built my own custom board on the lines of LAUNCH PAD-XL, but i am not able to program the FTDI chip to act as an XDS100v2 emulator. I have been using the MPROG utility. I have attached the screen shot below. I would really appreciate some help on how to figure what is going wrong.

Under the 'XDS100v2 (Recommended)' section there is a MPROG template file you can download and use.

Also make sure that you have the required drivers installed for the utility that you wish to use:

Thanks it worked fine, the board was working fine for a while but I am facing another issue now when I try to load the code on my board it gives me this error

C28xx: Error connecting to the target: (Error -1135 @ 0x0) The debug probe reported an error. Confirm debug probe configuration and connections, reset the debug probe, and retry the operation. (Emulation package 8.1.0.00007)

Can you please help me point out where am I going wrong.

It provides a list of threads with a similar situation.

What you may try to do is,

1) Uninstall the XDS100 Class Auxiliary Port/ XDS100 Class Debug Port that appear in Device Manager.

2) Reinstall the latest version of the drivers from (http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/XDS_Emulation_Software_Package)

3) Connect the board to the computer

4) In Device Manager click on 'Action' then 'Scan for hardware changes' and then re-run your connection in CCS and try to load the program

There was some problem with the hardware that was causing the issue, I was able to resolve that. Thanks for the help Marlyn.
