TMS320F28069M: USB connection between PC and TMS320F28069

Hi,

So i have been trying to achieve usb communication between PC and TMS320F28069M, I have been using the usb_bulk_device example provided in the C2000ware. When I plug in my usb to the pc the windows doesn't recognizes the device. I have already installed the driver given in the utilities folder(INF file).

While going through the INF file i found it had certain notes but ii really couldn't figure out what it meant, if someone can help me out with this it would be of great help.

Hi Anurag,

Are you using the current C2000Ware Version.

Please check if it the latest version and use the drivers from there.

Yes Harshmeet I am using the latest C2000Ware version.

Can you let me know what all steps are needed on the software side.

Anurag,

Once you run the usb_bulk_device, you will get an unrecognized driver.

You need to go to the utilities/windows_drivers and install the driver from there.

Then you can go to the utilities/tools/usb_bulk_example Application and use it for data transfer.

Harshmeet,

I did Install the driver but it still does not recognizes the USB device, it gives me an error Device descriptor Request failed.
