Hello Sir or Madam,

I worked on PMSM control using LAUNCHXL-F28069M with driver DRV8305. I followed the instruction of SPRABZ0. I used the modules in the diagram below.

the output of PWM1A should be a space vector PWM. But I received are always high signal. I don't know what is wrong?

also when I used CCS9.01 tool to debug, I met some problems:

1. when I added variables to Watch Expression, they couldn't show the Values as below:

How can I add Value in the column above?

2. if I right click the variables which type were unknown for Graph, they shew a warning message as below:

but the variable were defined in the head files with "_iq".

1. The appnote you refer to is for IDDK platform that uses the corresponding code controlSUITE. You seem to be using a different platform (069 Launchpad). I don't know if you are using the correct software for testing. The message in (1) seem to suggest that you are not using the correct software otherwise it would have picked up the variables that are showing up as unknown.

2. Make sure you are using the correct example project on the correct target platform.

I didn't use IDDK platform and didn't uses the corresponding code controlSUITE. Also these codes are from general math calculation modules for motor control. They aren't related to hardware platform.

In a debug window, you have to use the variable that is used in the project otherwise it will be an unknown variable only. If you want to see the elements of a struct variable, then refer it fully, such as, for example, svgen1.Alpha
