Do you have valid code at 0x80000 ? if not you would have got itrap exception.

In any case you can load the symbols (menu - run - load - load symbols) using the .out file from \\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_2_00_00_02\libraries\boot_rom\f2837xs\revB\rom_sources\ccs_files\cpu01\Release

you can also map the source code from \\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_2_00_00_02\libraries\boot_rom\f2837xs\revB\rom_sources\F2837x_bootROM\cpu01-bootROM\source\

this will help you to understand where the code is getting stuck .

And I'm using ccs. Is it possible to jump application area from bootloader area in CCS?

I don't think it's possible. Becasue when I jump to application area from bootloader area using function call, I saw the log like below..

what is the value you see at address 0x80000.

The value is 28AD at address 0x80000.

0x3ff16a is just the first address of boot code. so it is in just connected state and nothing has run yet.

Or the CPU has got reset and it waits at first address in boot code.
