CCS/TMS320F28069F: Instspin estimate the motor parameter not very correct.

Hi,

I am using 28069F example program from TI to run PMSM, for example using Lab2a. but I found that when the program estimate the motor Rs, Ld, Lq, the estimated results are not very correct. My schematic circuit is as the same as that of boostxldrv8301_revB. I use customarized control board and drive board with DRV8302 inside. especially, the Ld and Lq estimation results have a big difference with the real values given by motor manufacture. what is the possible reason for that ?

The instaSPIN-FOC doesn't support the parameters identification of IPM motor and treat it like SPM motor with Ld=Lq, but you can set different values for Ld and Lq in user.h to run the motor.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I am using SPM now, but not IPM. the PMSM in my post is SPM.

Please post the motor parameters identified by instaSPIN-FOC and provided by its manufacturer, and post some current waveform pictures to show the identification process. Is it possible the parameters provided by the manufacturer are not correct if the motor can be identified well?
