Instaspin BLDC and Instaspin FOC

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CONTROLSUITE, INSTASPIN-BLDC

1.Does Instaspin BLDC have detailed user guides like instaspin-foc and instaspin-motion user guides?

How come it's all about how that GUI is used, there's no documentation like instaspin-foc on program structure?

2.I use Evaluation board:  drv8301-hc-evm revd Lab 10a Overmodulation realize low speed and high torque function of brushless dc motor,

Nominal voltage V                                                               24
No load speed rpm                                                              60800
No load current mA                                                             282
Nominal speed rpm                                                             57500
Nominal torque (max. continuous torque) mNm     23.6
Nominal current (max. continuous current) A            6.45

when 300rpm,the motor output torque is  70mNm,

I use Instaspin BLDC Whether the brushless dc motor can also achieve low speed high torque function?

  • You may have a look at the application guide (\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\DRV830x-HC-C2-KIT_v105\InstaSPIN_BLDC\~Doc\InstaSPIN-BLDC Sensorless Control.pdf) that should help you with your questions.

InstaSPIN-BLDC is a sensorless solution also, so it's difficult to startup and low speed running with a heavy load. It seems like you want to get three times output torque of the nominal torque of the motor, that's very difficult for any sensorless solution, you may need to try sensored-FOC.
