Division is not working in F28335 XDS510USB Emulator, Code Composer Studio 3.3V

I'm using F28335 XDS510USB Emulator, Code Composer Studio 3.3V, i'm facing problem while dividing

main()

{

float x,y;

x = 1/2;

y=2/3;

}

this simple division only is not working what to do?

and in warning message i received is

WARNING: invalid compiler option --float_support=fpu32 (ignored)

The compiler version you have is too old to recoginize the option. You need to update the compiler to at least codegen tools v5.0.

Also, in the future, you may want to use the decimal point for float constants.

For example, do

y = 2.0 / 3.0;

instead.

y = ((float) 2) / ((float) 3); // also correct but ugly

If you don't do this, you may get unexpected results when the compiler does the math in integers and then stores the result in float.

This can even happen, when the following is not set

Build Options--> Compiler --> Floating point support -->Advanced--> fpu32

as shown in the figure:
