Sensored FOC Processor

See www.ti.com/c2000drives for an overview of our DesignDRIVE solutions. These are solutions primarily for industrial drives customers who have extensive expertise, where we give them a starting point and show them some things we've optimized for our MCUs / peripherals / CPUs / etc.

Another sensored (encoder) solution is www.ti.com/instaspin-motion

This builds off of our sensorless InstaSPIN-FOC solution and is meant for customers who may not have as much motor control expertise.  It focuses on simplifying and providing high performance motor control solution.

We don't really spend much time on hall sensor based BLDC control as it is just too simple to require a C2000.

To discribe it more precisely. I control a BLDC Motor with a magnetic Encoder.

The importent thing for me are the Software Solutions that are provided.

If i see it correctly, the F2837x and F2838x are the only Processor with design drive.

There are also only examples for these two in Motor Control SDK.

So are these two the only one with software Solutions?

what you are looking at is just the MotorControl SDK release. MC SDK is a new product that just released a few months ago. Going forward you will find all NEW motor control software solutions in this package.

There are other software packages that have been used, including MotorWare (specifically for InstaSPIN-FOC and InstaSPIN-MOTION solutions on F2806x, F2805x, F2802x series of C2000 MCUs) and controlSUITE (older repository for all device and application software development).

But this is all what i'm found for sensored FOC.

In controlSUITE is additionally F2833x and in MotorWare F2805x and F2806x.

So when I sum up the result is:

- F28377

- F28379

-(F2838x)

- F 2833x

- F2805x 

- F2806x

These are all Processors which have software examples for sensored FOC. Am I wrong?
