TMS320F28377D: Variables storing in Flash and retrieving POWER ON time

Yes, you can store the variables in Flash. If you want to program them in to Flash at application run-time, you need to embed Flash API in to your application.

We have an example in C2000Ware for the same: C2000Ware_2_00_00_02\device_support\f2837xd\examples\dual\flash_programming.

Take a look at this example and you will get a good idea.

Note: If you don't need to program the variable data at run time, then you can simply map them to Flash and program along with the image (using Flash programming tools like CCS Flash Plugin/UniFlash).

After programming, did you do a verify step?  

If not, you can do that to make sure that the data got programmed correctly.  You can see the same in C2000Ware example that I referenced earlier in this thread.

Apart from that, the example also checks the FMSTAT value after erase or program operation.  Hope you noticed it.
