TMS320F28027F: How do we know that the Identification values are correct?

Hi everyone!

Good day!

recently I identified 5Kw motor ,the values of Ls_d ,Ls_q seem to be incorrect!

the values are just like this:

Pols= 2
Rr=(0.668844)
Rs=(0.963945)
Lsd= 0.000363
Lsq= 0.000363
FluxRate = 6.26
MagCurrent =5.3
ResCurr =5.2
Max Current =11

maybe you are wondering why I used the ResCurr =5.2A ,the answer is ,because less than that Ls became equal to Zero look like this Lsd= 0.00000.

anyway,It seems to me that the Lsd= 0.000363 and Lsq= 0.000363 values are Too low !

so the questions here are:

1. what is the limitation for Ls_d and Ls_q for 5kw motor?

2.In which condition we are supposed to set Ls_d equal to Ls_q?

1. That depends on the motor, no limitation from InstaSPIN-FOC side. You should lock the rotor during the Ls identification process as the lab guide since it seems the motor is an ACIM.

2. The identification of instaSPIN-FOC only supports the SPM motor with Ld equals to Lq, and ACIM that always supposes both Ld and Lq are equal to Ls.

truth be told, I couldn't get your second answer, you mean in both SPM and ACIM LS_q can be equal to LS_d ? is that what you mean?

Right. Lq equals to Ld for both SPM and ACI motors.
