TMS320F28379D: Bypassing TMS320F37x bootROM

Hi,

Is it possible de bypass the bootROM of the TMS320F37x MCUs?

In other words, is it possible to reset these MCUs without executing instructions of the bootROM before entering its own code in flash or RAM memory? This can be done with other devices ;)

No, this is not possible. You must always go through boot ROM.

Ok, thanks. C2000 devices have some device initialization code which need to be run always after reset hence it has been incorporated in BOOTROM code and get executed always after reset. If not then user has to include this in their application code which will unnecessary consume the flash area.
