Hello,

I am developing a board with TMS320F28379D. And I am thinking to use XDS110 (TMDSEMU110-U) debug probe. Now this debug port comes with 3 connectors.

TI 20-pin to TI 14-pin converter adapter
TI 20-pin to ARM Cortex 20-pin converter adapter
TI 20-pin to ARM Cortex 10-pin converter adapter (is this a 1.27mm pitch 10Pin compatible with MSp432?)

I wanna have a 10 pin 1.27mm JTAG connector on my board similar to one on the MSP432 or CC3220 Launchpad. Now My question is Does this debug probe comes with a compatible connector? and Where can I get the Connector pitch and pinout details?

Hi,

Please note the TMS320F28379D uses a 5-pin JTAG (TDI/TDO/TCLK/TMS/TRST), where the ARM 10-pin standard does not. In this case, to follow any standards you need to either use the cTI 20-pin (native to the TMDSEMU100-U) or use the TI 14-pin.

Another note when designing your board is to watch for the TRST pull down resistor.

Hi Rafael,

Thanks for your response. I am still not clear. As there are many connectors and mating parts. Tell Me which is the cable connector used in TMDSEMU110 for

JTAG (20 Pin connection). and the mating part to use on Board.
