Hi,

During the life of a 28x MCU (ie. the length of time during which this MCU is manufactured), can TI change the bootROM version on its own?

How are customers aware of any changes? Is the source code published afterwards?

    Hello

    Yes, the boot ROM code could be updated, though most likely it would be minor bug fixes fixed via OTP patch. If it is a major update, the change would come with an update to the silicon revision. 

    You can check the boot ROM version. Details on this are in the technical reference manual.

    Boot ROM source code is in C2000Ware
