TMS320F28075: Total Power Dissipation and Maximum Case Temperature

Hi E2E,

Good day.

Our customer is looking for the Total Power Dissipation (Pd) and Maximum Case Temperature (Tcmax) of TMS320F28075PZPT. This information is not in the datasheet, is there a way to compute these parameters?

    Hi Carlo,

    Please refer to "Table 5-1. Device Current Consumption at 120-MHz SYSCLK" (Operational current) to compute Total Power Dissipation based on the Supply voltage.

    We do not specify Maximum Case Temperature, but that can be calculated using the link to Application note below the datasheet table "5.1 Absolute Maximum Ratings" (foot note 3).
