Hello

Currently, we have a drive using the Ti F28377 processor. (Based on the IDDK demo board)

This drive implement de DS402 with CAN and EtherCAT via Beckoff ET1100 linked to the Cpu on SPI (Use Ecat stack SSC)

Now, we would add PROFINET protocol.

To do this, I seen PRU-ICSS-PROFINET-SLAVE that we could place into SITRA AMIC110 with an RTOS.

But how is the link with the main processor F28377 (via SPI).

Is software on F28377 side exist to get some information from SITRA (Profinet network)

Is there some Exemple?

I seen the following documentation:

I can't find any documentation allow me to understand which are the interface (or API) available from "Protocl Stack" to Layer 7 "Industrial application"

Then I can't evaluate which work load I have to devellop the Industrial application because I no know the abstraction level of the Protocol Stack.

Is this protocol stack for profinet provide to me the Profined data like ControlWord, Status, position, speed.. (STW1, ZSW1, STW2, NSOLL_B...)?

If you're asking about the protocol stacks that run on the Sitara, please post the question to the Processors forum: https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors/f/791

If you're looking for help with the F28377 SPI, I can help with that. You can find quite a few SPI examples in C2000Ware that you should be able to use as a starting point for communicating with the Sitara device.
