TMS320F280041C: C2000 for Reluctance motor

My automotive customer is researching using reluctance motors in their system, and were asking which C2000 device can be most suitable for such motor?

Do we have any reference designs?

I looked through ti.com, but didn't find a clear answer.

Sorry, nothing recent on solutions for switched reluctance motors. It is not something we typically focus on.

Okay. Sounds like we haven't seen the demand to warrant internal testing.

So even to make a statement that a device like F28004x should be able to control such motor, would be an assumption? A safe one maybe?

yes in general F28004x (and almost any C2000 device) could be used for switch reluctance control.
