We are trying to model PI(D) for a PFC using matlab PI-estimation process but have many difficulties. Most are related to the domain of usefulness of the toolbox. While we are trying to sort these difficulties, we need to move on. In this regard, where can I find SPRUHJ1 document? Also: Is there any code for Denfino where PID algorithm is written and we can retune it for our purposes? If which way to simulate its behavior will be optimum?

You can view and download the latest version of this document here:

There are several PID implementations in the C2000 Digital Control Library which you will find in the C2000Ware package. If you install at the default directory, the DCL will be at

C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_2_00_00_02\libraries\control\DCL

Simulink models of the controllers are included in the library and may serve as a good starting point for you. There is nothing specifically set up to control PFC though - that part will be up to you.

Very much appreciate your prompt response!

I will start looking into c2k stuff.

Not sure in what order to crack this: begin with the Embedded coder, integrate c2k PID, edit it to suit PFC

or get into the eval kit, integrate our model with it.

This later, not sure.

I know embedded coder allows direct I/O with Delfino.

Any comment will be highly appreciated.

I am getting lots of erros...mostly related to Plot function when I run PID_Example.m

If you find someone there who has run them, would appreciate a workflow used.

I have all the files in 1 folder & it is in the path.

Meanwhile, I am going to try to resolve each. As much as I can.

Hi Robin,

The PID example in DCL seems to be running cleanly on my machine. Can you tell me what errors you are seeing?

I have not been following this for a week.

We got to get the control card & related hardware put together asap & then get back to the coding.

I will report asap on errors on my side.
