TMS320F280049: Default pin setting just after reset or power on

Hi Experts,

I would like to know the default pin status just after Power on and reset.
According to the Wiki as follows, it says "As with all C2000 devices, the muxed GPIO pins default to GPIO inputs (hi-impedance) at reset. "

Could you please let me know what documents describe the default value of each pin after reset or power on?
Also, if there is any pull up or down resister for GPIO which is configured as default, which document I should check?

Hitoshi-san,

As mentioned in wiki page, GPIOs are in hi-impedence state after reset. In device datasheet we have section "Pins With Internal Pullup and Pulldown" which provides info about pull-up and pull-down on different pins and if it's enable after reset or not.

HI Vivek,

Let me clarify if analog pins are multiplexed.
There are A0 / B15 / C15 / DCA_OUT / AIO231 are multiplexed.
Which one is the default setting after reset.
Is AIO231 the default because it is the digital input-231.

There are also PGA2_IN / CMP2_HP2 / CMP2_LP2 on the same pin.
Please teach me how I could know the default pin assignment.

Hi Hitoshi,

A0/B15/C15/DACA_OUT/AIO231 are not multiplexed. A0/B15/C15 are always connected. If you enable DACA, DACA_OUT is driven onto A0/B15/C15. If you enable AMUXSEL for AIO231, A0/B15/C15 goes to the AIO block. On reset, the pin is just A0/B15/C15.

The only muxes are at the comparator level. You have to set CMPSS2 muxes to 2 in order to connect them to PGA2_IN. By default, CMPSS2 muxes are 0 which means they are connected to A5 and A4.

Hi Frank,

I understood the Analog pins.
It is described in the datasheet "Table 5-39. Analog Pins and Internal Connections" which shows "ALWAYS CONNECTED (NO MUX)."

I could make a list of the default pin connection with it.
