TMS320F28379D: Code Generation Using MATLAB 2018a

Part Number: TMS320F28379D

Hi everyone,

I am working with Development Kit TMS320F28379D with Matlab 2018a and code composer studio 9.1.0 to generate code and direct implement on target. But due to some incorrect configuration of C2000 ware and C2000 compiler with my ccsv9 and matlab  version I am not able to generate code. There are many videos available on internet related to configuration but none of them are for ccsv9 version. So it will be great if someone guide me towards proper way of doing it.

Thank you.

  • Akshay,

I would suggest contacting the MathWorks for help with this.

    Regards,

    John

  • HI,

Unfortunately we here in the CCS forum are not the most knowledgeable in the Matlab Embedded Coder, thus ideally you should redirect your question to the Mathworks support forum.

Some Mathworks resident experts roam the e2e forums, but I don't have their direct contact information. Hopefully they can spot this thread (I added a few tags to see if they can easily spot this).

I suspect the effort to migrate is not large, given the differences in C2000 project and SDK management between CCSv8.x and CCSv9.x are mostly related to version numbers and system paths. However, the Embedded Coder would need to provide user customized options to configure this. However, not having this tool in my system here, I can only speculate.

    Regards,

    Rafael

  • Hello Akshay,

We don't (yet) support CCSv9. We will support CCSv9 with MathWorks Release R2019b, which should be available for download next week.

    Cheers,
