CCS/LAUNCHXL-F28379D: Memory size

In data sheet, it has been mentioned that flash of 1MB in F28379D. But if I sum up the memory I could find it as 512KB but not 1 MB. Can someone tell me why is it so?.

Is it like 1k x 16 means 2KB?

512KB Flash for each core making it 1MB.

Hi Vamsi,

Thanks for the response. Can you please let me know how to access memory of second core.

I am using linker file of flash(2837xD_FLASH_lnk_cpu1.cmd)

Satheesh,

Are you asking if CPU1 can access CPU2 Flash?

If yes, please note that CPU1 can not access CPU2 Flash.
