I am attempting to configure the SPI B module, but none of the registers change to reflect values that I write to them. An example is as follows:
// Clear SPI reset bit (SPISWRESET)
SpibRegs.SPICCR.bit.SPISWRESET = 0;
// Configure SPI to operate as a master
SpibRegs.SPICTL.bit.MASTER_SLAVE = 1;
// more code would go here but this is a class assignment and I think I would get in trouble for posting the full initialization.
Doing this does not change any of the bits in the SPICTL register. It remains at default values. The same can be said for the other registers used to initialize the SPI B module.
I use EALLOW earlier in the code to configure the muxes, etc.
