TMS320F28069F: Autotune RoverL

Part Number: TMS320F28069F

I am attempting an Autotune and even though the autotune completes, the values are not accurate nor consistent.  Starting with RoverL, the motor is stationary and I am using the following values:

Switching Frequency 12kHz

USER_R_OVER_L_EST_FREQ_Hz 100Hz

USER_VOLTAGE_FILTER_POLES_Hz 200Hz

USER_MOTOR_RES_EST_CURRENT 5.16A

Induction Motor Parameters

Line Volts 1193

Amps 34.3

Magnetising Current 15.84

Number of Poles 4

Repeating Autotune and looking for consistency, I see the following values for the RoverL portion:

Rhf          Lhf        RoverL

1.597      .0218    73.1

1.935      .0223     86.8

2.12        .0223     92.6

2.52        .0234    107.86

2.93        .0235    124.6

Reset DSP to see if any effect

3.20      .0232       137.5

3.35      .0239       140.1

Waiting 15 minutes

2.186    .0224        97.4

Waited 60 minutes

0.866     .0214      40.49

1.22       .0216      56.5

1.52      .0221       68.8

Lhf appears to be reasonable consistent, but Rhf is not.

I would appreciate thoughts as to why this inconsistency in the Rhf portion of RoverL .  Thank you in advance.

  • Please have a look at the InstaSPIN user's guide, set the identification parameters based on the specification of the motor. The RoverL is not very critical, just for setting the controller gain for the next step, you may go ahead to next step if you tune the identification parameters to get some similar RoverL.
