CCS/TMS320F28062: Serial flash programmer can not download application

Today,I used a USB-to-TTL cable to connect to my device.The serial flash programmer worked successfully.But once changed to USB-to-232 cable,downloading application would fail.Successfull communication between host and device through  USB-to-232 cable have been validated by TI provided example.

I captured the data transmitted by f28062 during successful application downloading,and compared with the data captured during the failed one.

Shown that flash kernel program was received by f28062 successfully during both downloading.

But during the failed application downloading process,f28062 would echo a bad cheksum data after two good.

I decreased baud rate to 4800,still failled.

Fixed the baud rate to 9600 by modifying flash kernel program.Also not work.

It makes me carzy!

I can understand. Thank you for confirming that you compiled the kernel for the same GPIOs that are used in the boot loader and that the USB-to-232 case is validated by a TI example. 

Couple of questions:

1) Did you use the same application txt file in both cases?

2) Do you use internal oscillator as the clock source?        

For further debug, can you try loading the kernel using CCS and use the Visual Studio project for the serial flash programmer.  Comment out the DownloadKernel() function.  Then run the kernel and the serial flash programmer that sends the flash application. This will help understand what data got received vs the expected data.

Hope you have built the project for Flash configuration using Flash linker command file.

Could you please program the d006_Charger.out using CCS and check if it is getting programmed to Flash?

d006_Charger.out works well if loaded by emulator.

I eventually found the reason why programming flash fails.

it's that data from PC host would be broken if loaded program using a USB-to-232 cable.Though the broken data may be less than 1 in a thousand,it really appears every time when load program d006_Charger.out（a 8kB file）.

I don't know why!

But that can be solved by modifying the flash kernel and serial flash programmer.

Did you try to use a different USB-to-232 cable ?

Did you solve the above problem already with modifications to kernel and serial flash programmer? May i know what are those changes.
