I am using the TMS320F28335 EXPERIMENTER KIT. When I am trying to dump the program from the code composer studio, it is showing me error as foolows
Error connecting to the target:
(Error -1015 @ 0x0)
Device is not responding to the request. Device may be locked, or the emulator may be unreliable. Unlock the device if possible and power-cycle the board. If error persists, confirm configuration and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK).
(Emulation package 5.1.73.0)
Allu,
Please take a look at the JTAG debug appnote (doc # SPRACF0) for tips how to resolve this JTAG issue.

Peter
I have an Identical tms320f28335 experimental kit. I have tested the identical EVM and it is working fine and the one which I had error problem is not solved. i have followed the procedure in doc#SPRACF0 still i have the same problem.
Allu,
So you have one setup that includes he Experimenter Kit and Control Card, and another setup with a different Experimenter Kit and a different Control Card. Have you tried swapping Control Cards between these two Experimenter Kits? This would narrow down the problem to either the Experimenter Kit or the Control Card. That would be the first thing I would try. Other than that, I would start looking at power levels and at the TRSTn pin to make sure it is pulled low. This is starting to look like a faulty hardware.

PEter
I have swapped the control cards and I looked at power levels, It is fine and the TRSTn pin is in low and It seems the problem is in control card. what is the procedure to replace the control card.
Allu,
Also, please reference this post in the return form (if you choose to go that route)

Peter
Allu,
The only way to request replacement board is to contact the vendor from which you have purchased it. Your latest message seemed to indicated that you have already contacted TI customer support, so it looks like you purchased this Control Card from TI. Did TI customer support respond to your inquiry, and if so, what was the response?

Peter
Allu,
If you dont have any more questions, I would like to close this post.
