Hi,

If i am not disabling watchdog timer in code what will happen?It is mandatory to disable watchdog timer? please clarify my doubt.

Hi Manoj,

In that case you need to handle the WD and clear the WD counter with in specific time else WD counter will expire is issue a reset. WD reset on CPU1 will reset full device. CPU2 WD will reset CPU2 subsystem.

Hi vivek,

After disabled watchdog timmer also my controller is resetting is their any reason for resetting? Custom board only getting problem development board working fine. I was probed xrs pin It is toggling.

Please monitor the power supply on your custom board. If may be dropping below min value hence getting reset.
