Compiler/TMS320F28069: Linker command file, putting RAM sections on Program Memory

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

Hello everyone,

I am now experimenting with linker command files, why are some RAM data sections mapped to PAGE 0 (Program Memory), shouldn't all RAM sections placed on PAGE 1? Plus also some FLASH section put on PAGE 1?

What is the reason?

Check out this wikipage that talks about the various compiler sections. In particular, focus on the memory map descirpation which expalins the difference between the pages.

Thanks Ozino for you answer. I read the whole document but doesn't say the reason for putting RAM sections on PAGE 0. I guess should be because of zero wait states?
