TMS320F28035: HEX2000 Block Size Configuration

Part Number: TMS320F28035

Hi team,

I am supporting my customer to use HEX2000 to generate a hex.txt to support our bootloader.

I looked throught our hex format and the source code fo Boot ROM, I noticed there is an important parameter which is 'block size'. In our boot function, we recieve all the data in one 'block' in a ram buffer and then program in flash. Thus the block size is directly related to the buffer size in RAM.If I can limit the block size, I can use a smaller buffer.

My question is:

1. How is the block size determined by default? Is it a fixed value? I am using this command to generate hex file:

 ....\hex2000.exe -boot -sci8 -a -o Example_2803xEPwmDCEventTripComp.txt Example_2803xEPwmDCEventTripComp.out

2. Do we support to specify the block size in HEX2000? How to do that?

Regards,

Brian
