Crystal load capacitance on Delfino boards

I have the 168 pin delfino (C28346) experimenter's kit. It uses a 20Mhz crystal (digikey part # 644-1039-1-ND). According to the datasheet of the crystal the load capacitance should be 8 pF but the capacitors used on the board are 33pF which results into around 15 pF load capacitance. according  to the application note (SPRAAs1A) "Hardware Design Guidelines for TMS320F28xx...." the capacitors should be carefully chosen not to exceed the recommended value.
