TMS320F28377D: The timing delay of GPIO inverter.

Hi all,

If I want to set GPyINV so that SDFM is able to capture data at clock falling edge, we should take care of the timing delay caused by the GPIO inverter, right?

So, where can I get the timing delay spec of this inverter? Please advise your idea if any, thanks.

Hi Luke,

We do not have standalone delay spec for the inverter but this should be part of IP timing spec provided in datasheet is that path is supported for specific IP (e.g. in this case SDFM). I'll let Manoj provide you input on that aspect.

As Vivek said we don't have a seperate spec for GPIO invert option. I will check with design team and get back with you.

You can use GPIO inversion feature with both GPIO ASYNC (or) GPIO QUAL (3-sample window).

What I meant to say was using GPIO inversion option doesn't require a seperate SDFM timing requirement like what we have GPIO_ASYNC and GPIO_QUAL. SDFM timing requirement specified in both ASYNC and QUAL has enough margin to use GPIO inversion.
