Writing to non-writable memory region

Hi,

I get the following error while trying to run the program on the target.

I found out that this is the one time writable area of memory. Is there any way to allow a write after erasing this region? Or, to tweak the memory map to avoid writing into that area?

Hi Darshana,

As you have mentioned its a OTP region, as the name says, its one time writable.

Better to bypass that memory region by changing the command file for the memory section.

By altering contents in the linker file ie .cmd file.

Dear Sir,
Which linker cmd file you mean? I am working in CCS 3.3 version.
Do you mean rts2800.lib file which is used in build option section?
Or header and common folder cmd files?

Which linker file do you mean?
Can you tell in more explanation?My error massage during loading program as, data verification failed at adress 0x3D8419.

Hello - the linker command file will have an extension .cmd. It describes to the linker what memory blocks are available and how to place code into the memory map. This wiki page may help as it describes how the file is used.
