Hello.

Is there any example about how to implement an IIR filter on the F2837X without using the CLA?

I have all the MATLAB coefficients and c files genrated, but the IIR is not present on the f2837xd_filter/fpu_filter.h file.

Hi Francisco,

The FPU DSP library does contain a CPU IIR implementation. The corresponding example is C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_2_00_00_02\libraries\dsp\FPU\c28\examples\filter\iir_f32

Indeed but it throws:

Why then the f2837xd_filter folder?

Not sure what the problem is. Does iir_f32 not build for you? It does for me. fpu_filter.h is an important header file for the project. v_pfn_v is a void function pointer declared in dsp.h but used extensively in fpu_filter.h.

My mistake I didn't include the dsp.h file.

However, I cannot find "fpu.h"

BTW, every output of the filter is +Inf , is there any way to debug it?

Francisco,

I know you sent me a private message, but just documenting so others are aware - i.e. the a[1] and a[2] coefficients are negated in the TI implementation, so you need to take that into account.

Yes, it is necessary to state that -a[1] and -a[2]

BTW, is it possible to implement any other IIR filter (i.e. chebyshev ) instead of Bi-Quad?

Some times, simpler is better for an application, because of delays, computational time, etc

Our libraries support only the biquad structure.
