CCS/TMS320F28388D: how do i install usb driver for TMS320F28388D?

Part Number:

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I konw TMS320F28388D setting USB Boot MODE when TMS320F28388D is unprogrammed and GPIO72, GPIO84 set to High.

GPIO72 and GPIO84 Pins connected pull-up resister.

When the product and PC are connected by USB, the connection is as follows.

So when I set the driver path to  'C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_2_00_00_03\utilities\flash_programmers\usb_flash_programmer\windows_driver' and complete the update, it comes out as shown in the following figure.

Even if the driver is installed, if connect TMS320F28388D, it will be displayed as unknown device in Device Manager.

I think the usb driver does not install properly.

Please let me know if there is a solution or reference.

  • Hi Daeseok Pyo,

Please try setting the driver path to "C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_2_00_00_03\utilities\windows_drivers" and check if the driver gets installed correctly.

    Thanks

I set the driver path to "C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_2_00_00_03\utilities\windows_drivers" or "C:\ti\C2000Ware_2_00_00_03"

however still displayed "Unknown USB Device" in device manager.
