Target error in HVPFC kit...

Dear all,

This is Saravanakumar. I'm facing the following error while dumping sensored pmsm program to the HVPFC kit. Kindly help me to recover.

The following is the error,

 

"Error connecting to the target: Error 0x80000200/-1041 Fatal Error during: OCS, Device driver: Problem with the Emulation Controller. It is recommended to RESET EMULATOR. This will disconnect each target from the emulator. The targets should then be power cycled or hard reset followed by an emureset and reconnect to each target."

    Saravana,

    What happens when you reset the emulator by disconnecting target?

    This should power cycle the device and reset the connection.

    What tool are you using when you receive this error (CCS, IAR, codered, etc)?

    What device are you developing with from the C2000 family?

    Hi Austin,

     

                Actually i'm using CCS v4.0. If i reset the emulator it's telling as failed to reset. I'm using f28035 control card. Help me to rectify from that error.

     

    Also i would like to know why TI doesn't have example code for sinusoidal control of BLDC motor. No document of TI has the solution for sinusoidal BLDC motor control with hall sensors or sensorless. Also tell me low voltage motor control kit supports 12,24,48V BLDC/PMSM motors..

    I apologize for the delay.

    Do you still receive this error message from CCS when using one of the TI code examples?

    The TMS320F28035 code examples can be found here: http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/sprc892.html 

    If you have controlSuite installed you can find BLDC and PMSM examples located here: C:\TI\controlSUITE\development_kits

    ControlSuite: http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/controlsuite.html 

    The sub-directory in this directory will differ depending on what version of controlSuite is installed.

    So in the event C2000 pushes out an update between now and when you install/installed controlSuite the next folder for the examples will differ.

    The next folder should read something along the lines of C:\TI\controlSUITE\development_kits\HVMotorCtrl+PfcKit_v1.6.

    Dear Austin,

        Now the emulator error got rectified. It's because of some real time mode options enabling and disabling. Actually i'm having the latest version of controlsuite only. It's is version 1.9. Now i would like to know the example code of sinusoidal control of BLDC motor. Only trapezoidal control of BLDC motor both sensored/sensorless is available in all versions.Is TI has no solution for sinusoidal control for BLDC motor?

    Sinusoidal FOC of a BLDC motor is addressed in the PMSM (PM AC motor, like a BLDC with sinusoidal windings)
