Hi all,

I think there is a bug in CLA debugging mode .. Am I right?

I programmed CLA app code to stop; at  '__mdebugstop() ;' and ran it.

CLA debugger stopped at the instruction as commanded and after that, I gave a single step continuously although MSTOP was already reached

and then, I noticed It didn't enter the CLA task anymore unless I reset the CPU ...

    The task will need to be triggered again in order for the task to run again. 

    How is the task being triggered?

    I have just come back to work.

    I have recorded this video about what I have noticed and been curious about.

    the video shows that I do resume a couple of times and then give single steps to the end of the CLA task.

    when I keep giving a 'single step' a couple of times more although it already reaches to the end of the CLA task, a message in red is shown in the Console window of CCS (please refer it at '00:26' of the video.)

    after I get this message I press the 'Resume' button again. however this app program doesn't stop at ' __mdebugstop();' instruction anymore.

    instead, I get the message saying " Can't run Target CPU : (Error ...) Requested operation cannot be done ....".(please refer it at '00:35' of the video.)

    I believe this scenario matches one of the special cases documented in the Technical Reference Manual (TRM).  Please try the instructions in the following section of the TRM:

    Debugging CLA Code   ......  special case: MPC halts at or after the MSTOP with no task pending 

    In the current version of the TMS320F28035 TRM this is on page 553.
