Am looking for Modbus-RTU protocol implementation for my application with TMS320F280041 Serial Communication interface module.

Please help me with example code or implementation of Modbus RTU over RS485 with TMS320F280041 board.

Hi,

TI has not investigated, built examples, or have experience with this protocol. As a result, our support will be limited primarily to C2000-level questions for this.

Several years ago a community member posted their port of MODBUS-RTU on a F2833x system. See below for a link to that E2E post. C2000 cannot claim whether this is a good or a bug-free implementation, but it could serve as a good starting point for you:

Note that the SCI peripheral is the same between the F2833x & the F28004x, so the majority of this may be pretty portable.
