  • hi,

Currently we don't have an example that has SCI A and SCIB communicating with each other.

We only have example showcasing echoback with serial terminal ,SCI loopback w/ and without FIFOs and interrupts.

Please use the SCI loopback example as reference and split the TX for SCI A and RX for B and comment out the internal loopback.

    Regards.

  • i have done it but it doesn't work...:(

i need not a comunication between scia a and scia b but only only one between  these (scia a or scib) for transmit and read with an arduino using 2 pins different from 42 43.

the problem is that no example code with 2 different pins as 42 43 work...

    somebody can help me:(

    thanks

That'e because the example are written for either the controlcard / launchpad & the board has the FTDI and circuitry to connect only these 2 GPIO pins to the usual USB cable .

If you need to use other 2 pins and view on  the PC through USB , you would need to use some external cable connections like the RS232 cable or a USB to UART converter cable and map it to the GPIO that you want to use.

But i guess in this case you are only talking to the arduino..

Which board are you using ?

How are you connecting the GPIOs of C2000 board to arduino ?

Are the basic example working fine ? like the echoback etc ?

    Regards.
