TMS320F28379D: About F28379_180controlCARD pcb schematic

Part Number: TMS320F28379D

Hi,

I have some questions about the F28379_180controlCARD PCB schematic.

The value of R51 - R54 is 100m, but it is not known whether 100m is 0.1 ohm or 1000000 ohms.

And what is the role of R51-R54 and C14-C17 (I know the 16-bit AD needs to use the 22 uF capacitor)?

  • user6158327,

'm' means milli or .1 ohm, 'M' means mega or 100,000,000 ohms. This schematic is using a 0.100 ohm resistor.

The 100m ohm resistor was chosen to because of the characteristics of the op-amp. This helps reduce ringing and ensures that the op-amp will remain stable despite the 22uF capacitor requirement for 16-bit operation . If you do not use 16 bit mode, the capacator, resistor and op-amp can all be reduced, removed, or changed.

    Regards,
