TMDSDOCK28335: External power supply recommendation

Hi,

Greetings.

Our customer have an inquiry about the specification for the external power supply of the TMDSDOCK28335 (barrel adapter).

I need Specifications for the 5V barrel supply such as current rating. Kindly provide me details so that i can provide power to board from adapter or suggest me trusted 5V barrel adapter for the docking station.

Cedrick,

you will need a power supply that is

- 5V
- >=1A
- Center positive
- And has a connector which is :Barrel Plug, 2.5mm I.D. x 5.5mm O.D. x ~10.0mm

We often recommend: https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/phihong-usa/PSAC05R-050L6-R-C2/PSAC05R-050L6-R-C2-ND/5820246 please note that this also requires an adapter to be purchased separately depending on which country you plan on using the power supply in. But any power supply that meets the specs above should be fine.

Also please note that you can power this board off of the USB connector JP2.
